Idea Napkin 1

My name is Fernando Perez and I am offering the product of a lifetime. An app that will create a grocery list that will create a shopping list for you and give you the best deal in town based on your preferences and what you like to eat. You will be able to pick and chose what you want on this list based on your budget and it will give you choices based on the price and quality of the product. As a food and resource economic major what we want to create is a larger demand for a product or certain products and to get more people in a grocery store. We notice that when a person goes food shopping they are just grabbing things off the shelf that they do not really need. In stead with this app we will be able to create list based on budget and help save consumer money. This app will be offered to two different market segments. They will be offered to normal food shoppers who go to grocery stores to get there food. Also, this will be offered to grocery stores to be able to create online inventories to replace newspapers and coupons threw the app saving them money on marketing and advertising. I believe people will care because people are lazy and cheap. This app will save them money and time at the super market. I believe nobody has been able to create this Idea to a point that is very user friendly. I believe that with the right group of people we will be able to revolutionize the industry with this great idea. These pieces fit like a glove. I know the industry, I know the consumer, I am a consumer. I know that if I had something like this I will be able to save alot of time and money. Also, I would be adding components and making it even better.

  1. Hi Fernando,

I would love to see your idea come to fruition. Something like this would be really helpful and save time for people. I would if there would be push back from grocery stores, though. The point, from a marketing standpoint, of having different layouts in grocery stores, even when they're all owned by the same company, is to have people wander around and buy more. You're idea could definitely help the consumer but I think grocery stores would be more resistant to it. Also, there is something similar but not exactly the same as your idea out on the market right now. I can't exactly remember the name of it but it's called like cash cow or something and it pays people to upload their receipts from grocery stores and does a lot of what your app does. Certainly worth looking into. Really concise and straightforward post! I got you idea without much effort and that's a good sign that you've thought it through. 2. What's up Fernando? My name is Gabe and I really enjoyed this idea. I almost think it's such a great idea that you shouldn't have told people about it. This seems like a much more organized and sufficient way to do groceries in which many times groceries gives one stress and takes up loads of time. I also do believe there is a similar idea out there like this already but you should check that out just for copy right purposes. Thanks so much and check mine out!http://gerb95.blogspot.com/2016/02/idea-napkin-no-1.html

  3. Hey Fernando,
This idea is actually amazing. I am absolutely guilty of going to a grocery store like publix with no list and walking down isles buying stuff that sits in the fridge. This kind of app giving the best deals in town will allow people to save money and actually take full advantage of the deals while still getting the food items that are essentially needed/wanted. I would however like to maybe see your post in bullet/number form than paragraph form. I know everyone is different, but I personally feel like the number format allows people to easily find what the product is, who the product is for, and why.Great idea all together though. If you would like to check out my blog, the link is below.
