Final Reflection

) Read through your blog from this semester. Recall all of the experiences you've had a long the way -- the highs, the lows -- the fun moments, and the moments of drudgery, and even the moments of dread.
My high was getting in a rhythm and being able to express myself in a class and not have to take exams or quizzes.

Lows were some of the very tedious work of having to comment and post all the time.

The fun times was doing the interviews with my friends.

and the bad times was making the deadline in time.

2) What sticks out to you as the most formative experience? The experience that you'll remember years later? What was your most joyous experience? What experience are you most proud of yourself for accomplishing?
My favorite, joyous and memorable experience was when I was doing my comments and blog post from Disney World. It was a great time. The experience that I am most proud of will be when I finish the class and I am able to say that I have completed ent3003

3) At the beginning of the semester, I mentioned that I wanted each of you to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. And we repeated the mantra -- I am an entrepreneur. Now, at the end, do you see yourself as an entrepreneur? Do you think you have moved closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset?
I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset. This class has just helped to see that anything could be possible.

4) What is the one recommendation you would make to the students who are going to journey down this path in the future? What would you recommend they do to perform best in this course? What would you recommend they do to foster that mindset?

The mindset and advice I would give is to be very diligent with this class.
You should always try and do your work ahead of time and you should create new friends and relationships as much as possible with people on your level, people that would benefit from you, and people you can benefit from.

Week 5 reading reflection

Micro financing is proven to work and been in my opinion the most influential form, well the within the most influential forms of business in america. I was the most surprised reading the story about micro financing in villages and within women. I do not disagree with anything the author wrote I was more pleasantly surprised if that. If I had a few questions for the author I would asking his opinions in micro financing and if he had more info on Saryamma. Nothing on the readign was confusing to ,e

very shrt interview with an entrepreneur part 2

My question were first of all pre planned. I got most of the questions from the post and instructions. With this I feel like this semester changed me as a whole. I have stretched myself to do things I have not done before. At the the end of this semester I know that I have a different mindset that I have applied to my interview with my boss Megan Lane.

My first question was was this what you wanted to do as a kid?

She said that as a child she wanted to be a police officer. She also, went on that as a child she as wanted to help people as a whole.

My second question was, What would you do if you didn't have this school?

She said that she feels like with the work that both her and her mother have put into opening up the school was well worth and hopes that she creates a new culture in education with year round schooling.

My last question was what were the biggest barriers to entry for opening the school?

She said that the largest barrier was getting the licensing and funding for the school.

As I said before I realize that the questions from before where not really thoughtful and that is why I didn't get as thoughtful as a response from the last time then I did this time. Also, I felt very comfortable with this interview only because I have been working there for a while. Also, I am closer threw this person and have been telling them about how tough it has been threw out the semester for me.

Celebrating Faliure

So my biggest failure/success which is still in the making is my intermediate economics class. On top of the fact that I am putting alot of effort into my business finance class. I am not able to understand the material so easily. I tried my best to study for the first exam and failed miserably. But I had faith, I have always had a hopeful mindset on coming back from failure. My dad always told me that a setback is a setup for a comeback and even if you fail you can try again. This class has thought me how to think critically of failure to find a whole in every system where you can fit. Currently I took my second exam. Studied harder and ended up with a 75 which is better. I am looking forward to work hard for the final. I know that with this mindset I can conquer any challenge.
