My question were first of all pre planned. I got most of the questions from the post and instructions. With this I feel like this semester changed me as a whole. I have stretched myself to do things I have not done before. At the the end of this semester I know that I have a different mindset that I have applied to my interview with my boss Megan Lane.
My first question was was this what you wanted to do as a kid?
She said that as a child she wanted to be a police officer. She also, went on that as a child she as wanted to help people as a whole.
My second question was, What would you do if you didn't have this school?
She said that she feels like with the work that both her and her mother have put into opening up the school was well worth and hopes that she creates a new culture in education with year round schooling.
My last question was what were the biggest barriers to entry for opening the school?
She said that the largest barrier was getting the licensing and funding for the school.
As I said before I realize that the questions from before where not really thoughtful and that is why I didn't get as thoughtful as a response from the last time then I did this time. Also, I felt very comfortable with this interview only because I have been working there for a while. Also, I am closer threw this person and have been telling them about how tough it has been threw out the semester for me.
Fernando,
ReplyDeleteGood job on getting the questions out. I think it is very good to develop a close relationship with your boss. The best way to go about doing this would be to ask professional questions sort of like the kind you have asked. check out my blog: http://camivilla10.blogspot.com/2016/04/very-short-interview-no-2.html
