Celebrating Faliure

So my biggest failure/success which is still in the making is my intermediate economics class. On top of the fact that I am putting alot of effort into my business finance class. I am not able to understand the material so easily. I tried my best to study for the first exam and failed miserably. But I had faith, I have always had a hopeful mindset on coming back from failure. My dad always told me that a setback is a setup for a comeback and even if you fail you can try again. This class has thought me how to think critically of failure to find a whole in every system where you can fit. Currently I took my second exam. Studied harder and ended up with a 75 which is better. I am looking forward to work hard for the final. I know that with this mindset I can conquer any challenge.

  1. Amazing post! After reading your post about failure I felt happier. Ok, I know that sounds terrible but here is the reason why, I am the worst at chemistry and I can never get a grade better than a D on my exams no matter how hard I push myself. It's difficult to talk to people about this because it seems that others will judge me and the people I know in my class are geniuses and get B's or A's. Your post and the quote from your father has suddenly given me this push that I have been needing. I wish you luck on your final, I know you'll do well. Just think positive thoughts no matter what, and when you hit a question that you have trouble with breath, just breath, relax, take a moment and try again. Thank you for being so open about this, I really enjoyed reading your post!

  2. Hey Fernando! I think you have a great mindset when it comes to celebrating failure. My dad says something similar to me too, but I really like how your dad worded it. I think I might start saying that to the people in my life too. It is great to see your perseverance through these difficult classes. Good luck on your final!!! 3. Hey Fernando, I enjoyed reading your post. I actually have the same kind of experience going on right now. I’m in Business Finance and I completely understand why a lot of people drops out of the class. Glad you have the same mindset, even though failure knocks you down just get right back up and try again. That is what I’m doing right now. Check out my post:
