My Entrepreneur Story Week2

As a small child I was always looking for ways to make money on the side. I used to buy a pack of character cards for Five or Ten dollars and sell the best card for the price of the pack or more depending on the type of card it is. As I got older I started to have a lot of different side jobs next on top of being a student. I figured that people had to start some where to learn a skill, I figured if they can do it why can't I. I used to do simple task, mow lawns and clean backyards. As I got older, I got more technical, I started fixing cracked screens or buying broken phones fixing them and selling them for double. I thought myself out of a need that started with my own phone. After that I got a job at Carmax, which if you do not know is all commissioned based pay. This job really improved my people skills and really showed me the power of being in a sales position. Now, I have just being going to school and this is my priority at the moment. But, I registered for this class because I would like to purse a minor and create connections with like minded people to create something great.

  1. You sound like a hard-working guy, I respect that a lot! The phone screen repair game is a great business, props to you for realizing that. Picking up on skills like that is always worth the time spent learning. Like you said, finding connections in this class is going to be almost as valuable as the education itself! I wish you the best of luck, maybe we can create something great.

  3. Learning how to do a lot of different things must have been pretty handy. Especially with how phones are made now, you have the ability to make some pretty decent money. I know I've cracked my screen twice in the past year. I agree about the importance of making connections in this class and in college. I hope your business only grows. 4. Hi Fernando. I can really relate to your story. For so long, I have been working to improve my self and be somewhat a jack of trades. I can really see how hard working and determined you are to be your best self. I am so happy for all the adversities it seems that you have over come to be at a school of this caliber and thus develop into your best self. I can really enjoy your story on making things. It seems that you are so hard working and determined which is an amazing fact in the field of entrepreneurship. If I were to give you an advice in this field it would be to focus on something that you are great at and stretch that talent to its maximum capacity. Reading your blog I have been inspired to gain tenacity and consistency where I feel that I can improve on. This story really makes me think on different things in my life where I just have to push forward. Overall, I feel that we share simmilar characteristics. I invite you to read my blog. Cant wait to see where your talents develop.
